Kumar Sangakkara
The Elegant Left-Hander
Kumar Sangakkara is one of Sri Lanka's greatest cricketers. He was known for his classy shots and calm mindset on the field. He played both as a batsman and wicketkeeper.
He made his debut in 2000 and retired in 2015. He scored over 12,000 runs in Test cricket and is considered a legend in world cricket.
After retirement, he has worked as a commentator and also served as the President of MCC — the first non-British to do so.
